PAPALLACTA HOT SPRING
"A privileged place in the door of the Amazon"
Papallacta is a village and parish in the province of Napo in Ecuador ; located 67 kilometers east of the city of Quito.1Pertenece the Canton Quijos , Papallacta is known for its hot springs and its lagoon , where the trout fishing is done . From here also they start climbing expeditions to the snowy Antisana . This place much of the drinking water used is extracted Quito . Andean has a cold climate by its altitude (3,300 m) and its proximity to the Antisana . It is surrounded by moors with a range of flora and fauna , highlighting the Andean condor, the national bird. According to the 2001 census , it has 806 inhabitants.​
